About this position The City is seeking a motivated and experienced Administration Officer to join the Community Development & Safety Team and support efforts to prevent and reduce crime within the community.
This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative and interpersonal skills who is looking for a diverse and rewarding role in a dynamic local government environment. With a focus on accuracy and attention to detail, this role provides high-level administrative support to the Community Development and Safety team, for the implementation of a range of programs and services aligned with the Branch Service Plan, including tasks such as:
Community Funding Program Responding to CCTV requests and providing footage to WA Police Force Preparation of Seniors Services quarterly brochure programs Assisting with Global Village activities at the Fusion Festival Monitoring and responding to correspondence and phone calls Assisting with internal and external meetings. What we are looking for To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
Substantial experience in an administrative role Substantial experience and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite Good understanding of electronic records systems and website management Excellent organisational and time management skills Proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships within the community. Driver's licence. National Police Clearance (no more than three months old).
