Char Char Bull is looking for a qualified Chef/Cook with a minimum of 2 years of experience, particularly with pans and grill. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate. You must be able to work within a team of 4, communicate clearly, and have a positive attitude.
The Employee’s duties shall include, but are not limited to:
* Preparing and cooking meals as per menu specifications, ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
* Maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and food storage areas, following food safety regulations.
* Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure efficiency.
* Managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and properly storing food and supplies to maintain stock levels and minimize waste.
* Adhering to all government-mandated health, safety, fire, and sanitation regulations as well as workplace safety policies.
* Ensuring that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet quality control standards, dietary requirements, and customer preferences.
* Communicating effectively with front-of-house staff to provide timely, seamless service and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Maintaining kitchen equipment, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring all tools are in proper working condition.
* Performing any additional duties assigned by the Employer relevant to kitchen and restaurant operations.
