Permanent, Full Time (or 0.8 FTE)Location: Hawthorn East

The Cairnmillar Institute is seeking a Digital Growth & Marketing Operations Specialist to join our marketing team. This is a hands‐on role responsible for improving key customer journeys, increasing qualified demand, and lifting conversion through disciplined measurement, optimisation and marketing operations. Working across Cairnmillar's portfolio (Higher Education, Clinics, VET and Professional Development), you will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver digital-first initiatives across web, paid/organic channels, CRM/email and analytics. You will bring structure and momentum to a test‐and‐learn approach, ensuring tracking, reporting and insights drive practical improvements that can be delivered in a small team environment.

The successful candidate will have:

* A degree in Marketing, Digital, Communications or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
* Demonstrated experience in digital growth, performance marketing, CRO and/or marketing operations (small team or matrix environment ideal)
* Strong capability in digital measurement and reporting (e.g., GA4, Tag Manager or equivalent, dashboards/reporting tools, Meta Ads Manager and/or Google Ads)
* Experience improving conversion through journey optimisation (landing pages, forms, CTAs, nurture) using an evidence‐based approach
* Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain a backlog, and deliver improvements iteratively
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations
* Experience coordinating briefs and working with agencies/contractors (briefing, QA, delivery) noting this is not a graphic design role
* High attention to detail (tracking QA, data hygiene, documentation), initiative, and adaptability
* Commitment to Cairnmillar's values and a professional, client‐centred approach
