Accounts Payable / Management Accountant
Location: Geelong

We are seeking a responsible, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Management Accountant to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
* End to End Accounts Payable process including daily batch payments
* Monitor the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to supplier queries in a professional manner
* Perform supplier statement reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies
Bank Reconciliations
* Complete daily bank reconciliations and cash management.
Reporting
* Preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts.
* Perform General ledger reconciliations and month-end processes.
* Assisting with year-end audit.
* Completion of BAS, FBT, Payroll tax and Workcover reconciliations.
* Maintain Fixed asset schedules.
* Budget analysis and preparation

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience in similar role
* CA or CPA qualifications (or currently completing) preferred
* Strong experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in a high-volume environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* A genuine interest in process improvement and automation
* Confidence working with finance systems and a willingness to learn and support the implementation of new technology and processes.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach
