Based at our first Australian site in Redbank, Queensland, this role will see you join our team of electro-mechanical technicians within a fully air-conditioned automated distribution centre.
About You
Electrical ticket/licence, preferably in QLD, but NSW or VIC would be suitable.
Current CPR/LVR (within 12 months).
Cert III or IV in Instrumentation & Control (desirable).
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults.
Conducting preventative maintenance on electrical/mechanical systems.
Calibrating, testing, inspecting, operating, troubleshooting and maintaining electromechanical devices such as PLCs, motors, sensors, etc.
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and maintenance documentation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A commitment to safety and a proactive attitude toward safety in the workplace.
A genuine interest in automation and technology, with the aptitude to learn new concepts and procedures.
Meet the Physical Requirements
Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time.
Working at heights of up to 30 metres (wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE).
Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 25 kg unassisted.
Your New Role
Maximise system performance and uptime through effective execution of all maintenance-related activities.
Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.
Support the production team through basic fault-correction coaching and troubleshooting.
Fault finding and rectification with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears).
Maintain automation control technology (PLC/controls/inverters).
Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components.
Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.
Work in a supportive environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
