Job Title: Student Support Lead

About the Role:
\
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing student support programs, including those related to diversity needs, behavioral issues, medical conditions, or workplace arrangements.
\
Key responsibilities include:
\
* Collaborating with senior leaders and middle managers to determine best ways to support students with diverse needs.
* Cultivating a learning environment that encourages positive student behavior and supports individual needs.
* Leading the implementation of student support structures, including learning plans and accommodations.
* Identifying and coordinating internal and external stakeholders, support services, and agencies to respond to student needs.
* Tracking, reporting, and communicating student support plans and progress.
* Mentoring and coaching teachers and support staff to increase capacity in meeting student needs.

Requirements:
\
To be successful in this role, you will require:
\
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate student support across multiple campuses.
* A commitment to fostering student wellbeing, behavior, and attitudes aligned with Catholic values.
* High levels of coordination and record-keeping to ensure positive outcomes for students.
* Ability to teach English or Mathematics to Stage 6 level (highly desirable).
* Experience leading in a wellbeing capacity (desirable).
* Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance.
* Tertiary Qualification in Education.
* Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
* Demonstrated knowledge or experience in student wellbeing-focused programs and/or initiatives.
* Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.
