About the Role
As a Blast Hole Driller, you will play a key role in safely and efficiently delivering production drilling activities while maintaining high operational and safety standards. This role is offered on a FIFO roster with Perth as the point of hire.
Skills & Experience Required
6. Demonstrated blast hole drilling experience within open pit mining
7. Experience operating Top Hammer and/or Down Hole Hammer (DTH) drill rigs
8. Strong understanding of drilling patterns, hole depths and consumable selection
9. Ability to accurately complete daily drill logs, hole log sheets, pre‐start inspections
10. Strong commitment to workplace safety, environmental compliance and quality standards
11. Ability to identify and report ground conditions, hazards & equipment defects and faults
12. Ability to work both independently and within a close‐knit production team
13. Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to assist in minor servicing and maintenance
14. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Mandatory Requirements
15. Current Australian Driver's Licence
16. National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
17. Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
18. Full Australian working rights
