About the Business
Founded in 1987, Tropical Pines is a collaborative family-owned enterprise located in Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast. We pack over 1 million trays of pineapples each year, supplying major supermarkets, food service providers and independent retailers across Australia through every major state fresh market.
We are currently seeking experienced Production Workers to join our Packhouse team in Beerwah.
Backpackers welcome (must have valid Australian work rights).
About the Role
You will be working in our packhouse supporting the preparation and packing of fresh pineapples for distribution.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Working across various areas of the factory including stacking, scanning, sorting, packing and tagging
* Operating on a fast-paced production line
* Portioning and packaging various sizes of pineapples
* Conducting quality checks on fruit and packaging
* Operating pallet jacks and handling packed trays
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the production line
* Using touchscreens and scanners as part of the packing process
* Day shifts – Monday to Friday (various start times)
Forklift Operator Opportunity
For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to assist with forklift operations within the packhouse.
Requirements for this position:
* Valid Australian Forklift Licence (Essential)
* Australian Resident or Citizen (Essential for this role)
* Experience operating forklifts in warehouse, packhouse or production environments
* Safe handling of pallets and loading of produce

To be successful you should have:
* Experience working in a fast-paced production or packing environment
* Demonstrated food handling experience
* Own reliable transport
* Strong attention to detail
* Availability for day shifts Monday–Friday
* Willingness to work across multiple areas of the factory
* Ability to maintain records required for food safety systems
* A positive, reliable attitude with a strong work ethic
