**Team Leader - Early Intervention & Education Programs**
**Specialist Youth Workers - Education Settings**
We currently have positions available for Specialist Youth Workers in our Youth Services Department working in the Education Settings Program. These roles are based in our Shepparton and Wallan offices. Flexibility in hours from 0.8EFT to 1.0EFT. Fixed term contracts with the possibility of extension dependant on funding.
This position involves coaching and mentoring young people with aim of increasing their wellbeing, resilience, self-efficacy and social skills. This will be done via individual case coordination, group-work programs and the provision of information and supported referral. In addition, support will be provided to young people who are disengaged from school or who are at risk of not making a successful transition to further education, training or employment. This will be through the DET's Navigator program.
It is essential that you hold a **minimum Diploma level qualification in a relevant field** and have experience and knowledge in the youth services field, particularly outreach and case management models.
