We partner locally with Latrobe University, GoTAFE, the University of Melbourne and Kangan Institute and all placements are co-ordinated directly with the education provider.

**Specialist Youth Worker - Education Settings (Navigator) - Shepparton**
We currently have a position available for Specialist Youth Worker in our Education Settings program. This role is based in our Shepparton Office working full-time on a fixed term contract until 31/12/2026 (possibility of extension depending on funding).
This position involves coaching and mentoring young people with the aim of increasing their wellbeing, resilience, self-efficacy and social skills. This will be done via individual case coordination, group-work programs and the provision of information and supported referral. In addition, support will be provided to young people who are disengaged from school or who are at risk of not making a successful transition to further education, training or employment. This will be through the DET's Navigator program.
It is essential that you hold a **minimum Diploma level qualification in a relevant field** and have experience and knowledge in the youth services field, particularly outreach and case management models.
