The Role
We are seeking a self-driven and enthusiastic Project Metallurgist to join our team at Carrapateena copper concentrator. This exciting opportunity will see you working on a portfolio of expansion projects and plant optimisation initiatives.
You will contribute to a strong safety culture based on transparent and open communication within the operating and metallurgy teams. You will also design and implement operational improvement projects to increase plant safety, throughput, recovery, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to a strong safety culture and continuous improvement environment
* Design and implement operational improvement projects to increase plant safety, throughput, recovery, and quality
* Develop strong relationships with metallurgical, operational, and maintenance teams at all levels
* Undertake process plant performance investigations and implementing improvement actions
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering disciplines
* Experience in minerals processing, particularly in sulphide flotation and SAG milling circuits
* Ability to autonomously develop, conduct, and interpret metallurgical test work and plant surveys
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
