Position Overview
Unit: Student Services, Full-Time, Professional Level 7
Location: 90 Sippy Downs Drive, UniSC Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia, 4556
Salary: $99,285 - $108,534 p.a. plus up to 17% employer superannuation
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of University curriculum data relating to program, course and class set‐up and management, in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met in accordance with strategic goals and priorities and to ensure efficient and maximum utilisation of available resources;
- Undertake root cause analysis to assist with resolution of issues identified with program, course and class set‐up and other data integrity issues in the Student Information System;
- Implement change management and communication framework strategies in undertaking the management, development, and continuous improvement of University approved curriculum elements.

You have a proven ability to assess problems and situations, develop innovative solutions, and respond efficiently within a process improvement environment. Your strong organisational, conceptual, and analytical skills enable you to engage constructively with stakeholders and clients, fostering a culture of responsive and customer‐oriented solutions. Additionally, you bring experience in coordinating and delivering training sessions, and preparing clear and effective documents and publications.
Qualifications
- Completion of a relevant degree with at least 4 years of subsequent relevant experience within a higher educational setting; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or broad knowledge in tertiary curriculum, enrolments and related activities;
- Extensive understanding, knowledge, and experience in the use of a computerised student information and/or timetabling system;
- Ability to work with staff in developing knowledge and understanding of data integrity and quality control issues and its relationship to continuous quality improvement principles and practices;
- Experience or evidence of an ability to quickly develop skills to complete the set‐up of programs and courses and undertake system‐related testing in the Oracle Campus Solutions (Peoplesoft) Student Information System.
