About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our team as a Second in Charge at Bulli Fun Club. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to school-aged children.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading by example and mentoring colleagues to deliver exceptional outcomes for children. You will work closely with the Director to develop and implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
As Second in Charge, you will be expected to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, promoting positive relationships among children, parents, and staff members. You will also contribute to the overall administration and management of the centre.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing quality care and education to school-aged children
* Leading educational programs and activities
* Mentoring and supporting colleagues
* Contributing to centre administration and management
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Diploma of Children's Services or related qualification
* Experience as a support worker, SLSO, OOSH Educator/2IC, or engagement with school-aged children
* Outstanding communication skills with families and the community
* Demonstrated commitment to work health and safety
* Strong understanding and experience in implementing educational programs and leadership within the centre as the Educational Leader
