**The Position**
**Position Title**: Clinical Manager - Adult Prevention and Recovery Care (APARC)
**Classification**: Registered Nurse Grade 5 NP51, Social Worker Gr4 (HR25-HR28), Occupational Therapist Gr4 (HR9-HR12)

**Role Description**
The Clinical Manager is a senior clinician located within the Bendigo Health Mental Health and Wellbeing Service - community residential setting, and is accountable for the effective clinical leadership for the Adult Prevention and Recovery Care program. The Clinical Manager demonstrates superior consolidated clinical skills at a proficient level and the focus practice areas of psychiatric triage, intake, assessment and treatment, and psycho-education.
The Clinical Manager role will provide clinical leadership and program guidance, including establishing the parameters of services, clinical standards and program objectives, and ensuring effective resource utilisation. The role will support the workforce by providing mentoring, particularly to junior clinicians, and supporting the team and other network partners to support collaborative planned treatment responses and system improvements to enhance responses for vulnerable and high-risk consumers presenting at ED with high levels of acuity and behavioural disturbance.
This role actively contributes to the overall team planning to improve consumer and carer experience, through monitoring and evaluating program outcomes, and development and management of changes as appropriate.
