The role
We are seeking a Vet Nurse to join our team on a Part-Time Basis!
Findon Vet Surgery is located in the western suburbs of Adelaide.
Key responsibilities:
- Part-time role, 25 hours a week
- Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Taking initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency
- Collaborating with the vetteam to ensure high standards of patient care
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
- Reception duties and customer service
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and expertise:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum 2+ years' clinical experience
- Excellent animal handling skills and an extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- A calm and friendly presence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
