Thorburn Australia is a small electrical engineering consultancy based in Townsville servicing Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory. We have been established for over 18 years and specialise in electrical and control systems for mining, water, waste water and metal processing plants.
With a large number of projects on the books, we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to join our team.
Youwillpossess ahigh degree of computer literacy and an ability to adaptto a wide range of fields including power distribution, protection and metering, variable speed drives, PLC's, SCADA, functional safety, hazardous areas and instrumentation.
Previous electrical trade experience would be a bonus and candidates with experience in AB, Schneider, Siemens,Citect, ABB, etc.would be highly regarded.
Our engineersenjoy a casual, fun workplace with flexible working hours and interesting work. Some travel away will be required at times. Working from home at times is also possible.
