The Role:
As a Graduate Systems Engineer, you will be immersed in the full project lifecycle of cutting-edge industrial systems. You will work alongside our senior engineers to design, develop, test, and commission integrated control solutions that form the backbone of modern industrial facilities. This role is designed to build your technical foundation and develop you into a well-rounded Systems Integration professional.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate graduate to launch their career within a dedicated Systems Integration team, working on a variety of challenging projects from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the design and development of industrial control systems using PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and MES platforms
* Support the configuration of network infrastructure for industrial applications (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, MODBUS, BACNET etc.)
* Participate in software testing at our headquarters, and on-site commissioning at client facilities
* Collaborate with Project and Technical leads to deliver solutions
* Contribute to project documentation, including functional design specifications, test plans, and user manuals
* Gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, including industrial communication protocols, PLC languages, SCADA, MES, and Database systems
About You:
* You are a recent graduate (or in your final year) of a degree in Software, Mechatronic, Electrical, or Computer Systems Engineering
* You have a fundamental understanding of software development and control system concepts
* You are curious, proactive, and have a strong desire to learn new technologies and solve complex problems
* You possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
Skills and Attributes:
* A foundational knowledge of programming (e.g., Structured Text, Ladder Logic, Python, C#, or similar). Specific platforms are less important than core programming concepts
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Eligibility Requirements:
* A degree (or near completion) in a relevant engineering field
* Available to work full-time
* Possess a valid driver's licence
