As a Vocational Trainer - IT, you will be responsible for delivering IT training programs designed to enhance students' information and communication technology skills. You'll be working with the Rehabilitation and Reintegration team on a full-time, permanent basis, directly contributing to improving employment outcomes and fostering the rehabilitation of prisoners.
As a Vocational Trainer - IT in the Rehabilitation and Reintegration team, you'll make a positive impact by:
- Delivering IT training and education programs in line with the prison's schedule.
- Designing, planning, and evaluating IT education programs tailored to individual needs.
- Managing administrative duties efficiently and in compliance with RTO standards.
- Developing and updating educational resources while adhering to security protocols.
- Participating in operational meetings and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring all activities comply with workplace health and safety requirements.

To be successful in this role you'll have:
- Experience working with RTO standards and adult education.
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
- An Information Technology qualification above Certificate II level.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant data systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to adapt to change and innovation.
