Key Responsibilities
Maximise system performance and up-time through effective execution of all maintenance-related activities.
Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.
Support the Production Team through basic fault correction coaching and troubleshooting.
Fault finding and rectification with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears).
Maintain automation control technology (PLCs, controls, inverters).
Assist in installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components.
Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.
Work in a supportive environment focused on teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills
Electrical Ticket/Licence (QLD preferred; NSW or VIC acceptable).
Current CPR/LVR (valid within 12 months).
Cert III or IV in Instrumentation & Control – desirable.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults.
Ability to conduct preventative maintenance on electrical/mechanical systems.
Calibrate, test, inspect, operate, troubleshoot and maintain electromechanical devices such as PLCs, motors, sensors, etc.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and maintenance documentation.
Strong communication skills, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Commitment to safety and proactive safety attitude.
Interest in automation and technology, with aptitude to learn new concepts and procedures.
Physical Requirements
Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling and standing for extended periods.
Work at heights up to 30 metres (wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE).
Lift, pull, and push up to 25 kg unassisted.
