About the Role
As a D365 CE Lead Functional Consultant, you will play a pivotal part in implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE applications tailored to client needs. Your expertise will help organizations realize the full potential of Customer Engagement through innovative business solutions.
What You'll Do
· Lead requirements-gathering sessions to understand business processes, objectives, and challenges.
· Translate requirements into clear functional design documents for configuration and customization.
· Configure Dynamics 365 CE—entities, forms, workflows, business rules, and security roles.
· Collaborate with technical teams on customizations and system integrations.
· Deliver end-user training and ongoing support to ensure successful system adoption.
· Participate in system testing by creating and executing test cases.
· Assist with data migration—mapping, cleansing, and import/export activities.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation and post-launch support.
· Stay current on the latest Dynamics 365 CE features, offering strategic recommendations.
· Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, quality delivery.
Pre-Sales Support
· Support pre-sales activities, coaching and mentoring junior team members.
· Validate solutions, costings, and project plans (without direct delivery responsibilities).
