We are seeking an experienced bar service professional to join our team as a Bar Duty Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and contributing to the success of our venue.
Key Responsibilities:
* All-round bar experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in a fast-paced bar environment is required. You should be confident in your ability to provide quality service to customers while maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
* Afternoon shifts in December: We require staff who are available to work afternoon shifts during the month of December. This may include weekends and public holidays.
* Darwin local preferred: While not essential, we prefer candidates who live locally in Darwin. This will make it easier for you to attend interviews and commence work with us.
* Team-oriented with ability to work solo: As a Bar Duty Manager, you will be working as part of a team, but also be required to work independently at times. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
* POS proficient: You should have experience using Point of Sale (POS) systems and be confident in your ability to use them accurately and efficiently.
* RSA & First Aid certificate: It is essential that you hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and First Aid certificate. If you do not currently hold these certificates, you must be willing to obtain them prior to commencing work with us.
* Exceptional customer service skills: Providing exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything we do. You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.
* Conflict resolution & problem-solving skills: Conflicts and problems can arise in any workplace. You should be able to demonstrate effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, and be able to resolve issues in a fair and reasonable manner.
* Cash handling skills: You will be required to handle cash and operate our POS system accurately and efficiently. You should be able to demonstrate good cash handling skills and attention to detail.
* Good work ethic: A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for this role. You should be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on new challenges, and be committed to delivering high-quality results.
* Attention to detail, accuracy: Attention to detail and accuracy are critical in this role. You should be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
