W3Global is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Management Systems (BMS) Technician to join their team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, diagnose complex issues, and provide innovative solutions to ensure seamless building operations.
This role requires a strong understanding of BMS systems, including Niagara AX and N4 software. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for delivering high-quality results.
In addition to technical expertise, this position demands exceptional communication skills, as you will work closely with clients, colleagues, and management to deliver outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance, service repairs, engineering, delivery, and commissioning of BMS Systems
* Identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancements
* Work with experienced technicians to develop skills and knowledge
* Identify hazards and safety issues
* Provide detailed information for quotes
* Liaise with work coordinators and management
* Provide high-level customer service to clients
* Identify opportunities for potential repairs, upgrade works, refurbishments, and new business
* Support the WA BMS team and assist nationally where required
Requirements:
* Full Electrical or Restricted Disconnect/Reconnect License
* Hands-on experience with electrical repairs, emergency breakdowns, maintenance, and installations within a commercial space
* Niagara Certification and a thorough understanding of BMS systems software - Niagara (AX and N4)
* Experience with Distech, Honeywell WEBS or Easy IO, software will be highly regarded
* Hands-on experience as a HVAC technician will also be highly regarded
* Current OHS/WHS Construction induction card and Current Driver's license
* Strong technology knowledge, fault finding and decision-making skills
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, professional attitude, and great personal presentation
* Curiosity - someone who enjoys autonomy as well as working within a team, and a proactive self-starter
* Confidence in quoting small works
* Demonstrated ability to project manage minor works
* Proven ability to achieve targets while maintaining focus on quality and safety
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Capability to develop and maintain client relationships
* A positive Can-Do attitude
