The Warehouse Manager oversees the daily operations of the Lust Minerals/ SNDY SKN warehouse, ensuring the space runs efficiently, safely, and in alignment with the business's growth.
This role is accountable for managing staff, maintaining accurate stock, supporting dispatch, improving systems, and ensuring seamless communication across departments.
The Warehouse Manager is also responsible for proactively identifying and resolving operational issues ("spot fires") before they impact the customer experience or workflow.
Key Responsibilities Daily Operations & Team Leadership Set up the warehouse team each morning for success, including preparing daily tasks for team members, putting away stock completed overnight and briefing the team on daily expectations.
Support and actively work in pick, pack, and dispatch when needed.
Manage for efficiency, warehouse staff performance, productivity, and workflow.
Assist in creating and managing rosters to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency, as well as meeting and maintaining budgetary targets.
Train, supervise, and upskill new and existing warehouse team members.
Maintain a well‑organised, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
Stock & Inventory Management Receive, report receivables and put away stock, often arriving in pallet loads efficiently and accurately.
Document and oversee stock rotation to maintain product freshness and organisation.
Monitor low stock levels; clearly communicate when stock is low, on order, or delayed.
Maintain accurate understanding of what stock is expected, incoming delivery dates, and any discrepancies.
Perform and oversee regular stocktakes (including weekly rotating stocktake schedules).
Dispatch Management Conduct weekly order audits across all platforms, including Shopify, DEAR (CIN 7) and Starshipit accounts (unfulfilled orders + local pickups).
Identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvements in pick/pack/dispatch processes.
Production & Planning Produce production schedules to support upcoming campaigns, product launches, and replenishments.
Prepare stock in advance for team members and daily operational needs including stock boxing.
Cross-Department Communication Act as the consistent point of communication between the warehouse and all other departments within both businesses.
Ensure tasks, updates, delays, and priorities are communicated clearly and actioned promptly for the senior team.
Collaborate with customer service, marketing, and operations team to support smooth fulfillment.
Logistics Management Work with and negotiate rates and services with local couriers for B2 C freight movements.
Oversee and coordinate all international freight movements via sea and air.
Ensure freight timelines are met and communicated clearly across the business.
Manage relationships with freight partners to ensure cost‑effective, reliable logistics.
Troubleshoot freight issues and ensure smooth logistics during restocks and launches.
Health, Safety & Compliance Oversee WH&S standards across the warehouse.
Ensure equipment, shelving, storage, and processes meet safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions where required.
Problem Solving & Prevention Proactively identify and resolve daily operational issues ("spot fires").
Recommend and implement solutions that support growth, efficiency, and scalability.
Skills & Experience Previous experience in warehouse management or a senior warehouse operations role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience with inventory systems, stock control, and warehouse software.
(Ideally Shopify + Dear/ Cin 7)
Forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
A proactive mindset with a solutions‑focused approach.
