Cook With Purpose in the Heart of the Mountain
Our Cooks are a vital part of the ski resort kitchen, delivering quality meals to guests and teams in a fast‐paced, high‐energy alpine environment. From early mornings to peak service periods, this role is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in their craft, and enjoys being part of a close‐knit seasonal team.
What You'll Do
* Prepare and cook menu items to recipe, quality, and presentation standards
* Support high‐volume service during peak breakfast, lunch, and après periods
* Maintain clean and safe food preparation areas, equipment, and appliances
* Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock deliveries
* Work collaboratively with Kitchen Hands, Chefs, and front‐of‐house teams
* Complete end‐of‐shift cleaning and closing procedures
What You'll Bring
* Required - Food Safety Certificate (completed in the last two years) for the state you will be working in – see Do Food Safely (VIC Resorts) or Do Food Safely (NSW Resorts)
* Proven experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen environment
* The ability to thrive in a busy, fast‐paced resort or hospitality setting
* Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask under pressure
* Clear communication skills and a positive, team‐first attitude
* A commitment to food safety, hygiene, and safe work practices
* Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and peak season periods
