Lead Educator of Student Engagement
This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a significant impact on student success and wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong relational capability, enabling them to build positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community.
Key responsibilities include leading the implementation of innovative measures to improve student learning outcomes, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure everyone is goal-oriented and focused on student success, and supporting teacher capacity in trauma-informed practices and essential skills for classroom management.
Apart from these core responsibilities, the successful applicant will also be expected to develop and support the implementation of Individual Behaviour Support Plans and Risk Management Assessments for Tier 2 and 3 students, lead case management discussions, and provide universal supports to staff.
In addition, they will contribute to increasing student and social and emotional wellbeing by using research-based programs, and collaboratively develop and embed a Staff Wellbeing Framework, supporting staff to thrive in a special school context.
This position requires a leader who can drive a collaborative culture of learning, work effectively with the leadership team to develop staff knowledge and skills, and ultimately lead to student success.
