To support our continued expansion, we are seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Officer to join our People & Culture team at our head office in Roselands, NSW.
About the Role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in attracting and securing top talent for Sydney Tools. Working closely with hiring managers and the broader HR team, you will manage end-to-end recruitment processes across retail stores, trade specialists, warehouse staff, and head office functions.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and has a genuine passion for recruitment, people, and building talent pipelines to support a growing national business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end recruitment, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and offers
* Partner with managers across retail, warehouse, and head office to understand hiring needs
* Proactively source candidates through Seek, JobAdder, LinkedIn, and job boards
* Build and maintain talent pipelines for high‐volume and specialist roles
* Ensure compliance with company policy, Fair Work, and legislative requirements
* Utilise JobAdder (ATS) for candidate management, communications, and reporting
* Support onboarding and induction processes for new employees
* Contribute ideas to improve recruitment practices and candidate experience
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR (in‐house or agency)
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing deadlines in a high‐volume environment
* Previous experience using an ATS (JobAdder preferred)
* Well‐organised with strong attention to detail
* A positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
* Knowledge of retail, trade, or warehouse recruitment desirable
