System Administrator
At the NSW Department of Education, we educate and inspire lifelong learners - from early childhood, through schooling to vocational education and training.
* Ongoing Full-Time
* Location Eveleigh (Sydney) or Hunter central Coast region with flexible working arrangements available
* Clerk Grade 5/6 Salary ranging from $99,938 to $110,271 + super and annual leave loading
About the role
* Maintain accurate data, records, and audit trails for compliance and reporting
* Provide first-line Help Desk support, primarily assisting external users with login issues, access problems, and general system queries.
* Deliver technical support to stakeholders across cleaning services
* Balancing routine system administration with urgent operational demands
* Location negotiable, must be willing to travel to Hunter Central Coast on occaision, if required.
As a Systems Administrator, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and improving the digital systems that support contracted cleaning services across cleaning services. You'll deliver responsive support, ensure data accuracy, and contribute to system enhancements that improve workforce capability, compliance, and service delivery outcomes.

About you
* Bring experience across systems administration, technical support, or ICT operations.
* Manage user account updates, including changes to addresses and other personal details within the system.
* Support a large, diverse workforce with clear guidance and practical solutions.
* Adapt systems to meet changing contract, compliance, and WHS requirements.
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
* Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
* Current Driver's licence and willingness to travel to site locations.
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
