About the role
We are currently seeking a Facilities Officer/Receptionist based in our St Georges Terrace Office in Perth. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities
• Assisting with the maintenance and improvements of office facilities, coordination of external contractors and communication with building managers and wider business
• Answer caller enquiries and direct them to appropriate employees
• Greet clients and visitors. Notify appropriate parties of their arrival
• Conduct daily office walks to ensure office standards are met
• Organise catering for meetings/office events as requested
• Maintain meeting rooms and ensure they are left clean and tidy after use and assist with video conferencing facilities as required
• Conduct stock takes and procurement of office consumables/equipment
• Perform administrative duties such as maintaining conference, meeting and training room booking schedules.
• Maintain internal telephone extension listing, staff information and Outlook distribution lists.
• Assist in the creation, preparation and distribution of reports, correspondence and presentations etc
• Provide additional Administration duties in addition to key responsibilities as/when directed
About you
• Previous experience in a reception/facilities officer role is desirable
• Previous administration experience is required and within a construction industry desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Good interpersonal skills and a friendly and approachable nature
• Good at multi-tasking and working well under pressure
