The Salary range for this position is currently $38.65 to $41.45 per hour. Hourly rate based on experience.

About the role
* Provide direct care and daily living support for young people in residential and community settings
* Plan and participate in activities aligned with care plans and developmental goals
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through role modelling and guidance
* Maintain accurate case notes and comply with documentation standards
* Support culturally safe practices, especially with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people
* Transport clients safely in accordance with road safety and organisational guidelines
What you can bring
* Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention, Certificate III in Community Services, or relevant experience
* At least 1 year of experience working with children and young people in a care or community setting
* Strong communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds and experiences
* A valid driver's licence (minimum P2)
* Ability to obtain a Blue Card, National Police Check, and LCS screening
