Our State Government client is looking to hire a Safety Officer on a temporary assignment
* Hourly Rate: Between $55 and $65 per hour plus super
* Start Date: Approx 27 th of April
* Assignment Length: 3 months
* Location: Northam
* Hours of work: 7.6 hrs per day ( 38.0 hrs p/w) (76.0 hrs p/f) between the hours of 6.00am and 6.00pm with unpaid 1⁄2 hour lunch break
All of our roles are temporary assignments and the hourly rates quoted include a 25% casual loading in lieu of leave entitlements.
In this role as a Safety Officer, you will be tasked with:
* Developing and reviewing Safety Management plan documentation
* Reviewing contractor safety management documentation
* Conducting and Participating risk assessment workshops
* Conducting Alcohol and Drug Testing
* Undertaking ICAM level investigations
To be considered you will be required to have :
* Certificate 4 of Work Health & Safety
* White Card
* Computer Literate
* Diploma of WHS (desirable)
If successful you will need to provide a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months), undertake 2 reference checks and comply with any departmental onboarding requirements.
