Job Title: Administrative Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our team. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our department, ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide timely and accurate information in response to queries from patients, carers, or clinicians.
* Ensure all relevant patient forms are signed and labels are printed.
* Prepare claims to be sent to health funds and enter them into relevant systems.
* Billing of accounts using the relevant system and other requirements as instructed.
* Recording and reporting on administrative tasks associated with the day-to-day running of the hospital.
* Attending to the telephones/switchboard using a polite and friendly manner.
* Providing timely and accurate information in response to queries from patients, visitors, vendors, and other customers.

Requirements:

* Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite of programs.
* Experience either in a medical administration setting or a patient-facing role.
* Experience with Patient Management Systems will be highly regarded.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable working in and communicating with a multidisciplinary team.
* Understand and apply the principles of confidentiality and privacy.
* Comply with Infection Control policies and procedures.
