ACTIVATE Health (Part time/ Casual): Yeppoon

Activate Health is an Allied Health business with practices in Yeppoon, Rockhampton, and Emu park. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being, mobility, functional capacity and quality of life of people in our community. We practice safe and research-based exercise interventions for every age, disability, and ability. We have both a caring and passionate team of health professionals, and a wonderful clientele that make Activate Health a motivating and enjoyable place to work.

The Role: The role will be permanent part time/ or casual for 15. 5 hours a week under the Health professionals and support services award. We are requiring specific administration cover of: Mondays 9:30 – 5:00, and Wednesdays 9am – 6:00pm. With a possible Friday morning addition in the future.

Desired abilities

* Good people skills as you will be greeting and booking in clients.
* Professional presentation as you will be the first impression for our health clinic.
* Good phone manner as you will be helping to manage bookings and answer queries.
* High ability to prioritise and stay focused as there will be times you will work unsupervised.
* Confidence with computer use, such as word, excel, and navigating different software.
* The ability to work quickly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

The front desk administrative role is an imperative part of the client experience, enabling our health practitioners to practice professionally, and the practice to function efficiently. Within this role the following duties are performed;

* Day to day office duties including copying/ scanning, data entry, money handling, monitoring attendance, and calendar operations,
* Professional and friendly client greetings in person, via phone, email.
* Managing calender bookings including attendance, new bookings, reminders for a multidisciplinary team of health professionals.
* Client billing through Online Medicare, NDIS and Workcover portals, Eftpos and
* Strong communication skills necessary to liaise with stakeholders, health professionals, and other team members.
* Office and practice hygiene maintenance and cleaning
* Monitoring and updating spreadsheets

Specific training and ongoing support is provided.
