About the role:
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic CSSD Technician to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 48 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster.
Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Clean, sterilise, inspect and package surgical instruments
- Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to
- Ensure equipment and stock are available for Perioperative staff
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across the hospital
About You:
You have a genuine passion for customer service, providing world‑class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilising Services
- Proven experience in Sterilisation Services in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound working knowledge of AS 5369:2023 and Infection Control standards
- Demonstrated ability to organise the sterilisation needs of the operating and procedure room requirements
