We are looking for a Part-Time Bus Driver
What you will be doing
o Putting equipment (e.g. mobility aids) and resident shopping into the bus
o Folding and unfolding mobility aids
o Staying with residents to allow staff to attend to other's needs
o engaging with residents, encouraging and supporting them to engage in the outing (e.g. accompanying a resident as they shop)
o Aiding residents with simple mobilisation including pushing a resident in a wheelchair (where trained to do so)
o Share with the Activities Officer / Lifestyle Coordinator at the end of your shift, a list of residents you have spoken to and information on topics discussed
o Deliver a high level of customer services, including the timely provision of agreed services to residents/clients and internal customers
o Drive in accordance with road and safety requirements maintaining due care at all times
About you:
Our successful driver will possess the following:
o MR class licence for driving buses of 22 passenger capacity or less
o Previous experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices (desirable)
o Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
o NDIS Worker Check (valid within the last 5 years)
o COVID vaccination evidence in line with current requirements
o Evidence of recent Flu vaccinations
