The role
As a Case Manager, your resilience and compassion will be key. You will support workers with workplace injuries, guiding their recovery and safe return to work. You will keep stakeholders informed throughout the claims process, providing guidance and support for clarity and confidence.
Main responsibilities
1. Build effective working relationships with workers, rehab providers, government agencies, legal providers, and medical professionals to drive successful outcomes.
2. Make liability decisions and assess claims for treatment needs.
3. Manage injury assessments, handle correspondence regarding benefits, treatment, rehabilitation, and interpret medical reports.
4. Respond promptly to customer needs and process claims accurately.
5. Calculate benefits and apply legislative rules and timeframes in managing benefits.
About you
* Experience working in a resilient team environment.
* Experience in a related industry or case management is desirable but not essential.
* Strong customer focus and interest in developing a career in case management.
* Empathetic approach, capable of handling difficult situations professionally.
* Ability to work collaboratively and guide team members.
