**Your Role**
As a Grounds and Maintenance Officer, your role will assist in the upkeep and maintenance requirements of the Village.
Your tasks will include:
- Perform gardening duties including mowing of all lawns, and ensuring edges and hedges are trimmed appropriately.
- Maintain the village grounds, interior, and building surrounds in a neat, clean, tidy and presentable condition.
- Manage garbage disposal and maintain cleanliness of outside areas/pool areas.
- Assist with general maintenance of the property, general care and securing of equipment.
- Report on any hazards or security breaches to the Retirement Village Concierge.
- Maintain the village's relevant equipment and supplies, and arrange replacement when necessary.
- Perform driving duties of Ozcare vehicles including courier and delivery duties (as required).

**Role Requirements**
- Current Police Screening Certificate
- Certificate III or equivalent experience in a related area and/or A trade Qualification in the building industry e.g. Carpentry/building (desirable)
- Demonstrated relevant experience in undertaking gardening duties and the maintenance of the grounds
- Ability to empathise with disadvantaged and/or older persons
- Experience in stock management
- Current Queensland Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Good computer and mobile device skills
- If the service is co-located with any of our aged care facilities, the influenza and covid vaccinations will be required
