About this role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert HR support and guidance to our project teams, assisting with routine people management activities.
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for delivering prompt, accurate, and practical support to managers and employees on People Management queries and issues. This includes facilitating the redeployment process for all staff and workforce, working closely with Business Unit People Teams to identify opportunities.
You will also lead and support the annual Performance Review processes and Talent Mapping initiatives, as well as contribute to the implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, wellbeing, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
The successful candidate will have;
* A TAFE certificate in HR, IR/ER or bachelor's degree in Business, Legal, Psychology or other associated disciplines.
* Demonstrated experience in a HR Advisor role or similar, preferably in the construction industry
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of national and state regulatory frameworks
* Knowledge of employment legislation
* Experience in HR project work, leading an initiative or desired outcome
* Strong interpersonal skills and social awareness with proven stakeholder management experience
