About the Role
MAURI, part of the George Weston Foods Group and Associated British Foods, one of the world's largest food businesses, is a leading supplier of high-quality flours, yeasts, pre-mixes, improvers, grains and animal nutrition, employing over 600 people over 14 sites in Australia and New Zealand.

We are looking for a Production Operator to join the flour milling team at our site in Moorooka, Brisbane.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be working alongside the flour miller to ensure the effective and safe running of the flour mill and associated processes, ensuring we are delivering on customer quality compliance and operating in a safe, cost effective & timely manner.
You will be a member of our production team, who is eager to learn and progress within our team. You will enjoy contributing as part of a team, ensuring production is running at optimal performance levels, ensuring all products are in specification, meeting productivity standards and the continuous efficiency of equipment.
In addition, you will participate in cleaning and maintenance programs for all site mill equipment whilst maintaining a safe and healthy work environment which complies with all company policies and procedures.
The role operates on a weekly rotating shift pattern, with the shift hours being 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am.

What will you bring to the role?
**The key skills and behaviours we are looking for are**:
- Experience working in a food production environment with automated equipment is highly desirable but not essential.
- Proven experience working as part of a team with rotational shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focused attitude
- Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (BRC) would be an advantage
- Strong commitment to a safe working environment
- Effective communication and relationship skills are essential
