Overview
The Company: Our client is a global leader in chocolate and cocoa, supplying ingredients to major food manufacturers as well as premium artisan producers. With a well-established footprint across ANZ and global production sites in Europe and Asia, the business operates a highly integrated supply chain, supporting both locally produced and imported product lines.
The Opportunity: This is a key operational role within the ANZ customer service team, acting as the central point of contact for customers across Australia and New Zealand. You'll manage day-to-day order flow, coordinate closely with supply chain and production teams, and ensure accurate, timely communication across the full order lifecycle. The role also works closely with regional teams in Asia and global manufacturing sites, giving exposure to international logistics and supply. It's a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders, solving problems in real time, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary contact for customers on all non-sales enquiries across ANZ
* Manage end-to-end order processing, including accurate entry and maintenance in SAP and Salesforce
* Proactively communicate order status, stock availability, and delivery updates
* Troubleshoot delivery, despatch, and stock issues in collaboration with supply chain and production teams
* Coordinate with regional customer service teams and international sites, including Europe and Southeast Asia, on order fulfilment
* Manage and resolve customer complaints and quality-related queries, escalating where required
* Liaise with internal stakeholders across supply chain, QA, production, and sales
* Maintain strong data accuracy and reporting, with a focus on detail and system integrity
About You
* Experience in customer service within a manufacturing environment is essential
* Exposure to food manufacturing or FMCG is highly regarded
* Strong systems experience across SAP, Salesforce, and Excel
* Understanding of international shipping processes, including Incoterms and trade documentation, is advantageous
* Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Confident communicator who can work across local and international stakeholders
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, operational environment

* Occasional local site or customer visits
Salary & Benefits
* Base salary circa $80,000
* Bonus opportunity up to 10%
* Super paid on base and bonus
