We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization. As we continue to grow and expand, we require an experienced professional to prepare financial reports, budgets, and strategic planning to improve profitability and efficiency.
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
* Prepare cost analysis on mining operations and investigate variances to present to management.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
* Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasts.
* Conduct risk assessments and advise on mitigation strategies.
* Oversee accounting procedures and implement more efficient financial processes.
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Proven experience (2-3 years min) as an Accountant, preferably in the resources or manufacturing industry.
* Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Exposure to Xero accounting systems or similar is essential.
* Advanced MS Excel experience.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Basic experience speaking Mandarin is desired.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
