What You'll Be Doing
The primary purpose of the Paediatric Production Pharmacist is the daily operational management of Paediatric Pharmacy Services including cytotoxic, aseptic, gene therapy, advanced therapeutics and quality assurance for non-sterile production.
Participation in clinical service provision to Med/Surg, Critical Care, Oncology and Ambulatory on rotation. Participation in departmental operations and education on rotation.

Qualifications
* Current registration as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no restrictions on practice. For Grade 2 must be able to demonstrate fulfilment of the criteria for Grade 2 pharmacist in accordance with the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award.
* Recent, extensive, and varied clinical experience as a hospital pharmacist with either production, oncology or paediatric experience.
* In-depth understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant regulatory guidelines.
* Experience in the safe handling and aseptic preparation of hazardous, cytotoxic and gene therapy trial medications or a willingness to learn.
* Evidence of being professionally active and knowledge of regulatory and governance requirements in a hospital setting.
* Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and organisational skills.
* Ability to participate in weekends, on-call and departmental rostering requirements of the Pharmacy Department.
