The Position
:
- Prepare & cook bulk meals for breakfast, lunch & special functions/ offsite catering
- Ensure meals are prepared on time & meet dietary requirements
- Maintain high food safety standards
- Experience in cold larder - this includes in house service
- Offer guidance & support to the kitchen team where needed, to ensure a outstanding experience for all customers
- Enhance workplace culture – display high levels of customer service, contribute ideas and be flexible to meet the needs of the business
The Person:
- Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery (certificate 3 or higher)
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate an advantage
- Proven experience in bulk cooking or large-scale kitchen operations
- Ability to work independently & as a part of a team
- Must be an Australian Citizen for Federal site access + willing to obtain a national police clearance
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures &operations;
