The business manages breeding, agistment and racing activities and employs a diverse workforce across farm operations, horse handling, administration and support functions. Operating in a hands-on and time-sensitive environment, the business requires structured workforce management to support daily operations, coordinate staff across functions, and ensure compliance with workplace and employment obligations. About the Role Telemon Thoroughbreds is seeking a full-time Human Resources Adviser to support the business's workforce and HR functions. This role is responsible for providing HR advice and support to management, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, maintaining HR systems and records, and ensuring the business meets its workplace and compliance obligations. The role is critical in supporting workforce coordination, particularly in an operational environment where staffing requirements vary across different functions. Key Responsibilities Provide advice to management on HR matters including recruitment, onboarding, workforce coordination and employee relations Coordinate recruitment processes including job advertising, candidate screening and onboarding Maintain accurate employee records, employment contracts and HR documentation Support workforce planning, including rostering coordination, leave management and staff allocation Assist with performance management processes and related documentation Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures and workplace systems Monitor compliance with employment legislation and workplace requirements Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters Prepare HR reports and maintain internal records to support operational decision-making Work closely with management to ensure workforce needs are met across the business Skills and Experience Relevant qualification in human resources, business or a related field, or equivalent experience Demonstrated experience in HR, recruitment or workforce coordination Ability to provide practical HR advice in an operational or hands-on business environment Strong organisational and record-keeping skills Good understanding of workplace practices and employment processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively Experience in agriculture, equine, rural or similar industries will be highly regarded Salary $78,000 - $82,000 per annum (plus superannuation), commensurate with experience How to Apply Please submit your CV and a short cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
