About the Role
GenusPlus Group is seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to oversee and continuously improve our Training & Competency Framework across all Genus entities. This role ensures the effective delivery of training, leadership development, and Verification of Competency (VOC) programs, while maintaining compliance with ISO standards, client requirements, and legislative obligations. You\'ll also provide governance of training procedures and manage training systems and records.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver inductions and training programs aligned to internal standards and external client requirements.
* Coordinate onboarding tools, templates, kits, materials, and equipment to ensure a consistent new starter experience (including use of in-house training facilities/equipment).
* Maintain Training Needs Analyses (TNA\'s) and ensure compliance across the group (including within Myosh where required).
* Maintain and review training matrices, proactively identifying upcoming expiries and notifying workers to renew licences/tickets.
* Update training records when workers complete/obtain/renew training, competencies (VOC), qualifications, and licences.
* Save electronic copies of licences/certificates/qualifications to personnel files and maintain accurate record keeping.
* Escalate training/competency non-compliance to relevant Project Managers.
* Review and approve VOC assessment materials; provide oversight to ensure consistency and integrity of assessments.
* Make overall determinations of competency and ensure certificates for completed VOCs are issued.
* Collaborate with HR and Management to support succession planning processes and reviews.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of training processes, documentation, and ways of working.
Skills & Experience Required
* Demonstrated experience coordinating and delivering training across a business.
* Experience with Verification of Competency (VOC) programs.
* Strong working knowledge of relevant legislative and compliance requirements.
* Knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality management system standards (e.g., ISO-aligned frameworks).
* Excellent organisation, time management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills (internal and external).
* Strong attention to detail and record-keeping capability.
* Intermediate Microsoft Office capability (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and confidence using online systems.
Qualifications / Tickets
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) (required).
Desirable
* Experience in utilities, construction, and/or resources.
* Qualifications in Work Health and Safety (WHS/OHS).
* Previous experience in SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality).
* Workplace First Aid and current CPR certificate.
