You'll be responsible for improving the performance, compliance, and availability of critical Defence systems, while ensuring alignment with the Navy Technical Regulatory Framework.Working closely with Contract Managers and engineering teams, you'll consolidate technical data, manage configuration and maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvement in system sustainment.As a National Engineering Manager – Maritime in the Defence team, you'll make a positive impact by:Leading national engineering oversight across diverse Defence contractsEnsuring compliance with Navy Technical Regulatory FrameworksManaging configuration, obsolescence, and maintenance systemsConducting technical analysis and risk assessments for engineering decisionsSupporting engineering investigations and change management with OEMsMentoring technical teams and reviewing engineering artefacts and task completionSerco is a place for youTo Be Successful In This Role You'll HaveOver 5 years of maintenance management experience in a naval defence settingStrong knowledge of naval engineering and Defence sustainment practicesProficiency in interpreting and acting on complex technical dataExcellent stakeholder and relationship management skillsFamiliarity with the Royal Australian Navy Technical Regulatory FrameworkProficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Visio and ProjectAustralian Citizen in order to achieve and maintain a defence security clearance of NV1A commitment to upholding the highest standards of trust and responsibilityAre you ready to do important work that really matters?
