We are seeking a motivated Quality Manager to join our state‐of‐the‐art manufacturing site located in Port Melbourne in a full‐time permanent capacity. In this role you will lead and manage a team responsible for supporting all aspects of Quality Management and Production System success.
Position Responsibilities
* Lead, develop and motivate a diverse team of up to 25 Manufacturing Quality Engineers within a cross‐functional environment to achieve first‐time quality.
* Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers and stakeholders at all levels across the business.
* Execute business plans, policies, procedures and organizational strategies to achieve company priorities.
* Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to a variety of audiences.
Basic Qualifications
* Internal candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role or have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership".
* External candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role.
* Experience working in a complex, highly regulated quality environment.
* Proven ability to lead a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
* Relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
* Proven skills with proactive problem solving and auditing.
* Lean / Six Sigma working knowledge.
* Ability to effectively prioritise and time‐manage in a dynamic environment.
* Strong written/verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence others.
* Flexibility to work shifts when required.
