About the opportunity:
We are looking for a Packer to join our end of line finishing team at our site in Kilsyth, VIC. This role reports to the Logistics and Despatch Manager will be a core part of our production process to serve our customers.
We have opportunity on day shift 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday
This role is paid $24.95 per hour
Key Responsibilities include:
* To receive and pack Printed Label rolls to box up and palletise
* Ensure safe handling and preservation of the Finished Goods being stocked, packed and handled.
* Be the last line of quality inspection prior to boxing up product
* Maintain Good Housekeeping of Work area and ensure Safe Work practices and manual handling are adhered to at all times
* Operate allocated Mechanical Aided Equipment when req.
* The ability to meet packing KPI standards within guidelines set by the Logistics and Despatch Manager.
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Ideally, have prior experience in working on a production floor, experience in the print, packaging, or label manufacturing industry will be advantageous
* Be a team player that can communicate effectively across multiple work groups and willing to help out others.
* Able to work autonomously and are self-motivated.
* To have high attention to detail and proud of your work standard – quality focus.
