Job Title: Youth Mental Health Research Officer
The School of Population and Global Health is seeking a highly motivated research officer to join the Youth Mental Health research team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work on clinical trials, support the recruitment of participants, and ensure delivery of trial requirements.
About the Role:
* Work as a research officer on the CanARY, CanCAN and CANOPY clinical trials.
* Support the recruitment of participants into the trial and ensure delivery of trial requirements across recruitment sites.
* Provide clinical guidance to junior research officers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or related health discipline.
* Sound understanding of mental illness.
* Demonstrated experience of working with people with mental health concerns.
* Demonstrated experience in building relationships and working collaboratively with key stakeholders at various levels.
Benefits:
* Clinical trial experience and experience conducting research assessments with people with mental health concerns is desirable.
* Current National Police Clearance Certificate, Working with Children Check, and C class driver's licence required by the successful applicant.
