You will be joining a business who manufactures high end, luxury beds working with premium fabrics.
Working within a modern, professionally equipped workshop for a Client who invests in both the latest tools and machinery and provide ongoing personal development for their Employees this is a great opportunity for experienced Upholsterers to be part of their growth plans.
Duties
* Fabricating and assembling bed frames, headboards and footstools
* Working with both hardwood and softwood
* Using hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently
* Following order sheets to meet production targets
* Ensuring all frames are structurally sound and upholstery-ready
* Supporting with general production duties when required
* Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in joinery, frame making or furniture production
* Good speed while maintaining accuracy and quality
* Confident using woodworking machinery and hand tools
* Ability to read and work from order sheets
* Reliable with a strong work ethic
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Experience in bed or sofa frame making is an advantage but not essential.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 0800 – 1700
Payrate
Up to £16.00 per hour based upon experience
