Western Work Force are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to work for one of our clients, a civil construction company based in WA.
The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, designing, and coordinating civil works across diverse projects. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to gain practical, hands-on experience across a range of civil and structural projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist senior engineers and project managers with planning and coordinating civil works.
* Provide office-based engineering support to supervisors and trades.
* Review drawings and specifications to ensure works are delivered in line with design requirements.
* Support quality control processes, inspections, and documentation.
* Help prepare reports, take-offs, and technical documentation as required such as IPT's.
* Monitor project progress and communicate any issues or delays to the project team.
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
* 1 – 2 + years' experience in civil construction, structural design, or related engineering fields.
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies for formwork, reinforcement, and concrete systems.
* Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
