**About us**:
Curtin Heritage Living Inc. in a not-for-profit, community owned organisation formed by to ensure older people continue a life well lived in the later years of their lives, in the area they grew up. We provide a much-needed residential care, home care and retirement living services to residents living in the western suburbs of Perth. Today, we have a reputation as a provider of excellence, and in leading innovation. The second stage of our award-winning integrated Cottesloe community is currently under construction overlooking Cottesloe beach.
We are expanding and, as such, are looking for a human resource coordinator. This is a recent role that would suit a human resource professional looking to work closely with a dedicated team, and who is looking to make a difference to the lives of older people.
**The opportunity**:
You will work closely with our heads of residential care, in-home services, and operations to coordinate organisation wide human resource processes. The position is a part-time (0.6FTE) role and will report directly to the head of operations.
As the human resource coordinator, you will support Curtin Heritage Living to positively impact the lives of our clients. Your role will include:
- Implementation of contemporary human resource processes and practices.
- Recruitment and initial onboarding processes.
- Staff competency (police clearances, vaccination records etc.) coordination.
- Workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
- Team culture, wellness, and engagement activities.
- Volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and support activities.
- Workforce analysis and reporting.
**What you will bring**:
As an important member of our wider leadership group, you will bring:
- Experience working in a human resource/people management role.
- Contemporary knowledge of all stages of the human resource lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to work individually and in a team environment.
- Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
You will ideally have formal qualifications in human resource management and experience working in an aged care, healthcare, or not-for-profit setting.
You must be able to present a national police clearance and evidence of vaccination and health records in line with government requirements and organisational policy.
